Sanford High School Football Mental Health Awareness Night

Exit Oceanside Realty’s 4th Annual Mental Health Awareness Golf Tournament

Atlantic Pines Golf Club, 445 Clubhouse Rd, Wells, ME

Stay; For Life and The Kita Center are honored to both be chosen as beneficiaries of Exit Oceanside Realty’s 4th Annual Mental Health Awareness Golf Tournament.  The tournament will be held on Monday September 22, 2025 at Atlantic Pines Golf Club (formerly Old Marsh). 8:00 Registration and 9:00 start.  Stay; For Life will be on hand with our table of free mental health and suicide prevention resources, swag and friendly conversation.  FMI reach Rick Coyne of Exit Oceanside Realty.

Biddeford & Saco Rising, Family Engagement Night

Biddeford High School, 20 Maplewood Avenue, Biddeford Maine

Stay; For Life will be participating in the annual Biddeford & Saco Rising, a family engagement night for families of PreK-12 students in Biddeford, Saco, and Dayton.  We will have our table full of free mental health and suicide prevention resources and more!  We’re looking forward to being involved in this family-friendly event, to help bring mental health and suicide prevention to more conversations.   Stop by to see what we’re all about!  Learn more about the event here

Katahdin Region Public Presentation

Walker Auditorium, Stearns High School, 199 State St, Millinocket, ME

Angela (co-founder, executive director of Stay; For Life) will offer her insights on the critical importance of mental health awareness and suicide prevention. She will also share her journey as a mother who lost her son to suicide. Attendees will be provided with practical strategies and resources to facilitate mental health awareness and navigate difficult situations such as suicidal ideation.  Stay; For Life and Angela deliver thoughtful and compassionate presentations that address mental health, emotional challenges, suicide, and suicide prevention with sensitivity and care. While all ages are welcome, presentation is best suited for ages 13+.

The Stay; For Life memorial banner will be on display.  The memorial banner is a heartfelt way for those who walk their journey with suicide loss to honor and remember their loved ones. You are welcome to attach a picture of a loved one lost to suicide. The picture you hang will be in good company with many others whose memories are kept alive. We’re all walking this path together.

Margo Stevens will be on hand with the Stay; For Life resource table. Here you can find many Stay; For Life resources including cards, bracelets and magnets.

Trails End Festival

Veteran's Memorial Park, Millinocket Maine

The Trails End Festival is an annual festival held in Millinocket, Maine, celebrating the end of the Appalachian Trail, Katahdin region, and outdoor recreation community by providing events, music, activities, and more!  Stay; For Life will be holding a vendor table on Saturday, September 13.  Stop by the SFL table to say hello to Margo and Angela (co-founders), snag some free mental health and suicide prevention resources, and learn about the organization and its programs.
