Stay; Man to Man Peer Support Group

Mission Statement

Stay; Man to Man Peer Support Group breaks down the stigma surrounding men's mental health. We do this by by cultivating opportunities for men aged 18 and up to forge alliances through face-to-face, man-to-man interactions within a safe, confidential, judgement-free, peer-led group setting. Stay; for connection, community, and brotherhood.

What can you expect at a Meeting?

Stay; Man to Man Peer Support Group is a comfortable place where guys can meet to chat about something that has been on their chest for a while, help other guys deal with their troubles, or just hang back and take it all in - to know they are not alone in all of this. The group will be led by a regular guy - not a mental health professional - to keep things as low-key and laid back as possible. โ€‹

Weekly meetings are FREE and aim to help guys with the everyday stress or mental health challenges they face, in a non-judgmental, supportive and de-stigmatized environment. If nothing else, you get to hang out with some guys, grab a snack, come back and do it again next week. What do you have to lose? โ€‹

m2m testimonials

After a very frustrating few days at work, I was driving home and thought about stopping at a local place to have a beer to calm my nerves. Instead I went to the Stay; Man to Man Peer Support Group meeting, and was able to lean on these guys.

Thank you Thank you..it is so great to have a place for us men to go to and not be alone with all the stupid stuff that goes in in our heads.

I did attend last nightโ€™s (meeting) and I will be going back every week from here out. I will say it Iโ€™m guilty of not talking about my feelings and hold it all in. Us as men need these groups to be able to just chill and shoot the sh*t and open up when we are ready.

Good place to talk and discuss issues I have not talked about ith others. Gives something to look forward to on a weekly basis with a format that makes you think about a positive.
