Past Involvements

Since their launch in September 2022, Stay; For Life has made a big impact in the mental health sector with a variety of projects. The involvement and support of the surrounding communities and followers has been a cornerstone to their success.

Kickoff event September 2022 with Funky Bow Brewery and Beer Company, 12/OC music, and Maine Photo Booth Bus Co. An astounding crowd of over 600 people supported the event.  The day was wildly successful in establishing SFL in the entirety of southern Maine.

Along with the 'Team Trent' participants, over $5,000 was raised for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Darkness Walk in Portland.  Summer 2022

Trent's Tree came to life during the holiday season 2022.  An interactive project that supported people grieving a loved one lost to suicide and demonstrating support for mental health. A feature on News Center Maine helped spread the word far and wide.  Individuals from across the country participated in the project.

SFL Light Therapy Initiative is a continuous effort that began in November 2022.  The program provides light therapy boxes, at no cost, to individuals who recognize they may benefit from them.

Grief baskets are given to families who have experienced a suicide loss.  The intent of the basket is to remind families that they aren't alone, and to help them navigate those first few weeks of trauma.

Dancers Making a Difference chose Stay; For Life as their beneficiary for the 2023 event.  An incredible collaborative event of several surrounding communities showing amazing support for the mission.
